This is my Hedge End garden. I wanted to create something that was enjoyable for adults to entertain in, but suitable for children to play in. The garden is split over two levels, which had to be maintained. The steps were created to be at the side, so that they did not split the garden in half again (as the wall has done), which would have made the space almost unusable for children. The render is standard sand and cement render and the paving is polished sandstone.
